CFRI’s A BREATH OF FRESH AIR – A GALA TO RAISE CYSTIC FIBROSIS AWARENESS AND SUPPORT THE SEARCH FOR A CF CURE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! In October 2020, CFRI’s first virtual gala to celebrate research progress and our 45th anniversary was a tremendous success! Thanks to our caring community, we raised over $125,000. The inspirational evening featured diverse voices from our community, music, and the presentation of the 2020 CF Champion Award to the amazing Mary Helmers, RN.
A Breath of Fresh Air was sponsored by Vertex Pharmaceuticals, AbbVie, Chiesi USA, Genentech, Gilead Sciences, and NBC Bay Area, with additional support from Alcresta Therapeutics, Foundation Care, Heritage Bank, Mylan, and Alliance Rx Walgreens + Prime.
Reaching New Heights: Supporting CF Solutions

You can have fun, raise CF awareness and change lives. All it takes is to bring your friends and community together to contribute towards cystic fibrosis.
You could throw a cocktail party, organize a walk-a-thon, host a yard sale or come up with your own creative way to build strength and support for the CF community.
